Please call 0114 2507206 to book an appointment. All appointments for the whole day are released at 8.00am. If, when you call you find that all the appointments have been taken, you will be asked to leave a contact number,and a Doctor will call you to discuss your needs. If the Doctor feels that you need to be seen then they will make an appropriate appointment.
We endeavour to see all urgent problems on the same day.
If you don't need an immediate Doctor or Nurse appointment you can pre-book up to 3 months in advance.
In order to provide the best possible service for our patients, all our Reception Team triage calls in order to assess which Health Professional would be the most appropriate to deal with your call, and to assess it's initial urgency.
If you would like telephone advice, please leave a message with Reception before 12pm (11am on Thursday/PLI (Training) Day), and the appropriate Health Professsional will return your call. If you call after these times it may not be possible for your call to be returned on the same day.
If you require a home visit please telephone on the day before 11am, so that a doctor can triage your visit request.
Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
If you make an appointment that you realise that you cannot keep or no longer require, please telephone the Surgery as soon as possible to let us know.
Patients who fail to attend or forget to cancel appointments prohibit other patients who may be quite ill, from getting a much needed appointment.
