The process for adult ADHD referrals in Sheffield has changed.
Your GP practice will refer you to the ADHD interface service. They will invite you to an appointment to discuss the support available, how long you may have to wait, and the different ways to get an ADHD assessment. You can talk these options through before choosing a provider.
They can also help you find support while you wait, such as support groups and other local services.
Before your appointment, you may find it helpful to think about what you hope an ADHD diagnosis might help with, and whether you would prefer to meet in person to get a diagnosis or have your appointment online.
